ABOUT
Kailey Reid, based in Charlottesville, Virginia, has been working as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer since 2018. She studied Studio Art and Graphic Design at James Madison University, then moved on to study Computer Animation Art and Design at Bournemouth University in Bournemouth, England. She specializes in pen and ink, taking inspiration from numerous sources such as music, film and artists like John Kenn Mortensen, Edward Gorey and Tim Burton. Her work, more often than not, leans toward the fantastical and macabre.

2023 – 2025: Featured artist in Westfield, New Jersey, showcasing artwork alongside original illustrations by Charles Addams (creator of The Addams Family).
2024: Featured exhibitor in the Twisted in Time gallery exhibition in Charlottesville, Virginia.
2023: Exhibited and sold out all featured pieces at The Rye Arts Center (Rye, NY) for the Artists of the Night gallery exhibition. Artworks were displayed alongside legendary creators including Charles Addams, Edward Gorey, and Greg Hildebrandt.
